Kirsten Burgess is a Cape Town based Professional Architect registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (PR ARCH 37134242). Kirsten graduated from the University of Cape Town with a BAS, BAS(Hons) and MArch (Prof), and is a member of the South African Institute of Architects (SAIA) and the Cape Institute for Architecture (CIFA). She was also an active member of the Architecture and Heritage Committee of the Observatory Civic Association from 2018 – 2020. As her interests in heritage buildings grew, in 2021 Kirsten completed the Heritage Resources Management course through UCT, and is actively involved with sensitive heritage design in Cape Town.
